i know, i know. i disappeared again.

list of what i've been up to over the past few weeks:

packed up life in toronto
moved to california
found an apartment
discovered trader joe's
spent every morning at peet's using the free wireless
biked across the golden gate bridge
drank beer at the academy of science
found out that americans don't have the word "cutlery" in their vocabulary
fell in love with meryl streep
became a craigslist addict
had the best pasta on nob hill
visited stanford university
bought the cutest Michael Graves kettle from target
set off my smoke alarm twice while cooking without a ventilator
caught an incredible free exhibit on all over coffee

i'll be back sometime in september. i don't know how soon. grad school is intense, and it's only the third day. oh, but i do absolutely love being a student again.
